I went to the doctor this morning. This was the first time Steven didn't get to come with me. More on that in a minute. He said everything is going great! My due date has been changed back to July 7, which I very much approve of. He told me if I haven't gone into labor by July 12, they will induce me. This makes Steven really happy because he wants Trey to be born on his birthday (July 11). The nurse had a hard time getting his heartbeat because he wouldn't stop moving. She could even see him moving around! She did eventually get the heartbeat and it was good. I gained about 1 1/2 pounds since 2 weeks ago. He gave me advice on acclamating the cats to the baby. All in all, a productive appointment because I actually had questions to ask! Usually I don't. Hmm.
Steven and his general manager, Robert, are currently the only two managers working at his store. Jennifer's father died so she is gone until after the funeral. Jeff came in today and could hardly breathe and his arm was bothering him, so they sent him to the ER. This is the second time since Steven has worked there that Jeff had to leave to go to the ER. The doctor did call and say he had inflamed ribs (whatever that means) and they are not sure when he will be back. So for now, it is Steven and Robert running the store all alone. He was supposed to get off at 7 tomorrow, but since this has all happened he has to close.
I am working on getting my degree from TCC. I think I only need one more class to complete my Associate's, but I am currently e-mailing back and forth with online advising to figure it out. If it is how I think it is, I can take the class online in the fall and be completely done. That is until I try for my bachelor's. That's another story. I am going to have to wait on that one for a while I think. Being a full time student just doesn't look like it's in the cards for the fall.
Anyway, I am looking forward to this weekend and seeing the family! Kathy is taking us to the farmer's market to buy laundry detergent.
