I am so tired! Trey hasn't taken a nap today and he got up at 10 after going to bed around 3 am last night. Oh, and he got up multiple times during the night to eat. what kind of baby doesn't sleep EVER? and he won't let me put him down the past few days. Luckily, Steven was off and helped out Monday and Tuesday. I haven't had time to do any cleaning and the house is a wreck. I still haven't put up his bath stuff and he had his bath over an hour ago. Plus he's having eating issues. He keeps pulling off then screaming because he wasn't finished. I have barely been able to sit down because not only does he want to be held, he wants me to walk with him.

Trey is Coming!

We head to the hospital tonight at 7. I am getting medicine to make me start dilating overnight, then in the morning they will start me on pitocin to induce labor. Who knows, by this time tomorrow I might have a baby!

I went to the doctor yesterday. No big news. His heartbeat was 144 again. I am still due July 7. Steven is supposed to spoil me. I go back in 2 weeks.

I like my job. Working makes my back hurt really badly, though. And today, some guy yelled at me because he didn't think I needed to know his girlfriend's birthday, age, or middle initial. I am really glad I talked to his brother a few days ago!

The cats are locked out of Trey's room because I have been doing laundry. Every time I open the door they dash in there.

I went to the doctor this morning. He told me I make his job easy. MY weight is good, my blood pressure is excellent, and the baby's heartbeat is 144. He said there is a 90-95% chance that he will deliver the baby which is awesome. I was a little worried since it is such a big practice.

So far, I have conducted two interviews completely in Spanish and have three more to do. I guess I'm the only one who can handle it. The other two people shouldn't have said they spoke Spanish if they don't.

Trey likes moving around while I'm driving which is quite inconvenient. Speaking of driving, my headlight burned out today. My dad said he will replace it when he comes up next Friday.

Riverfest starts on Friday. I looked up the schedule and there are quite a few things I want to do, but I'm not looking forward to going by myself and Steven has to work during a lot of it. I think I will be able to see the fireworks from our house so that will be good.

I have been really tired today. I got up early for the doctor, then came home and slept for about 2 1/2 hours. I got up after that, but then ended taking a 2 hour nap later on!

I went to the doctor this morning. This was the first time Steven didn't get to come with me. More on that in a minute. He said everything is going great! My due date has been changed back to July 7, which I very much approve of. He told me if I haven't gone into labor by July 12, they will induce me. This makes Steven really happy because he wants Trey to be born on his birthday (July 11). The nurse had a hard time getting his heartbeat because he wouldn't stop moving. She could even see him moving around! She did eventually get the heartbeat and it was good. I gained about 1 1/2 pounds since 2 weeks ago. He gave me advice on acclamating the cats to the baby. All in all, a productive appointment because I actually had questions to ask! Usually I don't. Hmm.

Steven and his general manager, Robert, are currently the only two managers working at his store. Jennifer's father died so she is gone until after the funeral. Jeff came in today and could hardly breathe and his arm was bothering him, so they sent him to the ER. This is the second time since Steven has worked there that Jeff had to leave to go to the ER. The doctor did call and say he had inflamed ribs (whatever that means) and they are not sure when he will be back. So for now, it is Steven and Robert running the store all alone. He was supposed to get off at 7 tomorrow, but since this has all happened he has to close.

I am working on getting my degree from TCC. I think I only need one more class to complete my Associate's, but I am currently e-mailing back and forth with online advising to figure it out. If it is how I think it is, I can take the class online in the fall and be completely done. That is until I try for my bachelor's. That's another story. I am going to have to wait on that one for a while I think. Being a full time student just doesn't look like it's in the cards for the fall.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this weekend and seeing the family! Kathy is taking us to the farmer's market to buy laundry detergent.

I actually got good sleep last night!! Steven stayed up really late fixing Xboxes and fed the cats before they could wake me up. Amazing!

Trey has been kicking like crazy, and in the weirdest spots. I go to the doctor tomorrow. I need to get my list of questions ready. Usually I don't have any, but this time I actually do.

Steven is convinced we live in a bad area of town. People at work told him we do, but I don't believe it. Everyone I have talked to thinks it is a fine area. It is older, but I have no qualms about our safety. Right now, I am home alone with the front door open! He also thinks we should have looked around more. His GM lives in a house near Derby paying $150 more with 3 more bedrooms and an extra bathroom. Yeah, deals come around, but we couldn't afford that anyway. For what we have we are paying a typical price. It is not that expensive and it is what we can afford. Everything else at this price is the same: 2 bed, 1 bath. It might have another bathroom if you're lucky. He wants to look for a new house when our lease is up but I don't want to move, especially with a 6 month old. I hate moving.

OK, I have to finish my Spanish assignment now. I will post with doctor updates tomorrow.

Pictures

So I tried to put pictures on here, but they are chopped off on the right side. A problem for another day. The partial pictures are up here.

Today we went to get a sonogram. Last time we went, they told us his heartbeat slowed down during the time they were looking at him and that the tubes leading to his kidneys were inflamed. Those issues seem to have resolved themselves. She said he looks very good. He can swallow, his kidneys are functioning, and his heartbeat is 154. She also said he has hair already! I was surprised they could do this, but she told us he weighs 2 pounds and 11 ounces. He is growing so fast! He already looked so much bigger on the screen. It is really amazing.

We are going to a barbecue at Mike's house tonight. This will be the first thing we have done with friends in Wichita, seeing as Mike is our only one. Steven met him while training for management in Tulsa. I am excited to get out an do something with other people.

I am going to try to figure out how to link this to the family blog.. We'll see how that goes!
